SXSW Raptor Treehouse

Tasked with creating a unique networking and conference venue for Raptor's participation in SXSW, MEIS drew on inspiration from one of the company's earlier locations for the conference, the St. Cecilia Hotel.  Famed for a 300 year old oak tree that dominates the courtyard, the St. Cecilia provided a magical natural setting for meetings, cocktail receptions and impromptu performances.

In a nod to the grand oak tree, MEIS designed a Raptor Treehouse providing meeting rooms, stage areas, bars and cafes.  Made from recycled storage containers and stage rigging the tree becomes an iconic brand statement for Raptor at SXSW.

Designed to be set up and demounted easily the entire tree house can be shipped and staged anywhere in the world.
