Pizzeria Mozza

Five years after Pizzeria Mozza opened on the corner of Highland and Melrose, Nancy Silverton, Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich focused their attention southward with a second location of Pizzeria Mozza in California. The project opened at 800 West Coast Highway in Newport Beach, California and required the demolition of previously existing 3,500 square foot restaurant which made way for the new space. The site kept the original 30 parking spaces and the building includes a 1-story structure, also approximately 3,500 square feet, with an outdoor seating patio and valet. Widely recognized as one of the best pizzerias in the country, Pizzeria Mozza is known for its California ingredients and a much-talked-about crust.
